Casino Voltaire projects consist of social engagement through collaboration and activation of participants into authors. Social encounters focus on non-monetary assets sharing, the gift economy, the knowledge economy and conversations about how we value what we value and why?

Casino Voltaire is motivated by a desire to make work that asks questions about perceived value.

Through whimsical actions we question individual agency and our roles in the global capitalist narrative. We explore this with game-play such as card, board and video games to create forums for discussion between participants on questions of value.

Insights gathered in public interaction through this method of experiential learning are measured against iterations of the project in other cultural contexts.
